Summary: When Kit's grandfather dies, she has to leave the island of Barbados and go to live with her aunt in the Massachusetts colony. However she doesn't seem to fit into the community and struggles to find her place.

Recommendation: Yes this book was good. It was slow at first and it's an old book written in the period of the 1600s, so it's certainly not an adventure book. It was still interesting though and a good read.
