Summary: Set in Victorian England, Wives and Daughters follows the life of Molly Gibson. She's the daughter of a widowed country doctor who remarries, bringing her a step-mother and new sister. The book follows several characters journey through love and marriage.

Recommendation: Yes, oh yes! I loved reading this book, and I am surprised I had never heard of it until recently. It's right up there with "Pride and Prejudice" and "Jane Eyre". The author died while she was writing the book, so you don't get the very end chapters which can feel a little anti-climatic...but it's still worth reading. I loved it!
